Bathroom Remodeling

Bathrooms are small rooms with a lot underneath them. Most of the cost, and most of the risk, sits in what you cannot see once it is finished: the drain, the supply lines, the waterproofing, slope, backing and ventilation. We do the rough-in and the finish as one job, so the marble and the membrane behind it are the same crew's responsibility.

Bathroom Remodeling — example of the work

Scope

What the work involves

Showers and tubs

Tub-to-shower conversions, frameless glass, curbless entries where the framing allows, freestanding tubs set under a window. Waterproofing is inspected before any tile goes on.

Tile and stone

Floors, walls, niches and benches, laid out so cuts land where they are least visible. Porcelain, natural stone and large-format slabs.

Vanities and fixtures

Custom and semi-custom vanities, double sinks, wall-hung units, LED mirrors and the plumbing and electrical to serve them.

Ventilation and lighting

Extraction sized for the room and ducted outside, layered lighting over the vanity and in the shower. An under-ventilated bathroom is what brings mould back two years after a remodel.

How it works

From first call to final walkthrough

  1. 1

    Consultation

We come out, look at the space, and listen. What you want changed, roughly when, and what you have budgeted.

  2. 2

    Design and scope

Drawings and, where they help, 3D renderings. Then the scope in writing: what is included, what is not, and the price.

  3. 3

    Permits and build

We file the permit, schedule the crew, and build in a sequence you can follow, with the site cleaned each day.

  4. 4

    Final walkthrough

We walk the finished work with you and close out anything on the list before we call it done.

Questions

Before you call

How long is the bathroom out of service?

It depends on scope and inspection timing. We give you a working range at the estimate and tell you as soon as it changes.

Can you convert a tub to a walk-in shower?

Often yes. The limits are the drain location and the framing, both of which we check on site before quoting.

What if there is water damage behind the wall?

We stop and show you. Hidden damage is priced as a change order with the reason explained — never absorbed silently into the schedule.
