Landscaping & Hardscape
The yard is the first thing anyone sees and the last thing most remodels budget for. We build the hardscape — paver driveways and walkways, patios, retaining and seat walls, outdoor kitchens — and the planting and irrigation around it, so the outside of the house is finished to the same standard as the inside, as part of a remodel or on its own.

Scope
What the work involves
Driveways and walkways
Interlocking pavers on a properly compacted base, with edge restraint and drainage so they stay flat for decades.
Patios and outdoor living
Paver and concrete patios, seat walls, fire features, outdoor kitchens and shade structures, with the gas, water and electrical run properly.
Planting, lawn and irrigation
Beds, lawn, trees and drought-tolerant planting laid out around how you use the yard, with drip and spray irrigation zoned to match.
Grading and drainage
Getting water away from foundations and hardscape. It is the least visible part of a yard and the one that causes the most damage when it is wrong.

How it works
From first call to final walkthrough
- 1
Consultation
We come out, look at the space, and listen. What you want changed, roughly when, and what you have budgeted.
- 2
Design and scope
Drawings and, where they help, 3D renderings. Then the scope in writing: what is included, what is not, and the price.
- 3
Permits and build
We file the permit, schedule the crew, and build in a sequence you can follow, with the site cleaned each day.
- 4
Final walkthrough
We walk the finished work with you and close out anything on the list before we call it done.
Questions
Before you call
Do you take landscaping on its own?
Yes — a driveway, a patio or a front-yard makeover is a normal job for us, not only the last item on a remodel.
Pavers or concrete?
Pavers cost more up front and can be lifted and relaid if anything underneath ever needs attention; poured concrete is cheaper and cracks eventually. We price both.
Can you do a drought-tolerant conversion?
Yes. Lawn removal, new planting, mulch or decomposed granite and drip irrigation. We will tell you what your water district's current rebate looks like rather than promise a figure.
