Room Additions
An addition is worth doing when it looks like it was always there. That means matching the roof lines, the stucco or siding, the window style and the floor level — and tying the new structure into the old one properly. We handle the plans, the engineering, the permit and the build, and we finish the inside to the same standard as the rest of your home.

Scope
What the work involves
Design and engineering
Plans that respect setbacks and lot coverage, structural engineering for the connection to the existing house, and a permit set the city will approve.
Ground-floor additions
Primary bedroom suites, family rooms, enlarged kitchens and dining rooms — foundation, framing, roof and exterior finish blended to the house.
Second-storey additions
Adding a floor above an existing single-storey home, with the foundation and framing upgrades that usually come with it.
Utilities and finish
Extending heating and air, plumbing and electrical into the new space, then insulation, drywall, flooring and paint.

How it works
From first call to final walkthrough
- 1
Consultation
We come out, look at the space, and listen. What you want changed, roughly when, and what you have budgeted.
- 2
Design and scope
Drawings and, where they help, 3D renderings. Then the scope in writing: what is included, what is not, and the price.
- 3
Permits and build
We file the permit, schedule the crew, and build in a sequence you can follow, with the site cleaned each day.
- 4
Final walkthrough
We walk the finished work with you and close out anything on the list before we call it done.
Questions
Before you call
Addition or ADU — which do I want?
If the new space needs to be separate — its own entrance, kitchen and address for a tenant or relative — it is an ADU. If it is more of your own house, it is an addition. We help you decide at the estimate.
Will the new part match?
That is the whole job. We match roof pitch, eaves, stucco texture, windows and floor levels so the seam disappears.
How long does an addition take?
Plans and permits first, then construction that is usually measured in months. You get a schedule with the estimate and updates as it moves.
